Por novena ocasión, la delegación Venustiano Carranza celebrará la Feria de la Torta en la explanada delegacional en el centro oriente de la Ciudad de México, a 5 minutos del centro.
Durante la feria participarán más de 50 establecimientos nacionales y de países como Argentina, Chile, Colombia y Bolivia. Además, se buscará romper de nuevo el récord mundial del platillo multisabor más grande del mundo, al llegar a los 50 metros de largo.
En su versión anterior, visitaron la feria cerca de 250 mil personas que disfrutaron la oferta gastronómica de 45 torterías, cifras que se aumentarán este año, según los organizadores.
Desde el miércoles 01 y hasta el domingo 05 de Agosto, se llevará a cabo la 9na Feria de la Torta 2012 con un horario de 10 a 20 horas durante los 5 días.
El objetivo de la feria es el de fortalecer las tradiciones gastronómicas, además de conocer las de otros países, pero también busca impulsar al sector productivo que se ha visto afectado durante la última llegada tras la invasión de negocios de comida rápida extranjera.
Se tiene pensado servir más de 500 mil tortas durante la feria a más de 350 mil asistentes, que se darán cita a partir del miércoles en la sede delegacional, donde estarán más de 55 torterías esperando atendernos.
Con la feria se espera generar más de 1000 empleos temporales y una derrama de 10 millones de pesos en beneficio de 500 familias dedicadas al sector.
Y como no todo serán tortas y comida, también se podrá disfrutar durante la feria de juegos mecánicos, grupos musicales, juegos extremos, talleres, actos cómicos y una velada de tortas.
Concluimos con un dato arrollador en el ramo de las tortas en México: en el país existen alrededor de 20,500 torterías, de las cuales 2,500 están en la ciudad y 480 están en la delegación Venustiano Carranza. Las que están registradas.
